Chic & Affordable Spring Dresses under $40

I cannot believe how good these spring dresses from Walmart are- for under $40!! These are some truly timeless and classic pieces that you are sure to love for years to come! Whether you’re looking for workwear or effortless basics you can layer over, these finds are absolute must-haves.

DRESS I SHOES

First is this navy dress that is perfect for workwear. The v-neck stops at the ideal place to give some interest to the neckline, but it’s not so low that it is inappropriate for the workplace. I love the pretty light blue and white pattern it has on it! Wear it by itself during the warmer months, or layer it with a white blazer and heels for an elevated business meeting look. This piece is an all-around staple you can grab for time and time again.

I love pieces that are great basics you can layer on top of and style in endless ways! These next two dresses fit that bill perfectly. A white dress is a spring and summer staple—every closet needs a great one to pull for all season. I love the puff sleeves and square neckline of this one. The ruching up top and flared bottom give such a flattering shape. It’s also fully lined and has pockets for added functionality.

On the right, I styled this dress with simple yet chic pieces. A silk scarf is such a great way to add color to an outfit without taking away from the silhouette of the dress. I also added my favorite sunglasses and a textured purse to complete the daytime look! This outfit gives me all the European vacation vibes, especially when paired with sleek flats.

To finish off the outfit, I added my favorite straw hat, sunglasses, and some casual black sandals. This effortless yet polished combination is ideal for a breezy daytime outing!
