Happy Thursday!! This rainy morning has me cozied up on the couch with a large cup of coffee. I could just sit for hours listening to the rain come down. I wish I actually had time for that! Ha
I’m so excited to share today’s look with you. How CUTE are these pants? I know that you might be thinking, those won’t look good on me….but let me tell you something, they are high waisted and extremely flattering. I have seen them on a few other body types and was in love each time. I recently wore them in Dallas with a red crop top and it was perfect because my belly wasn’t showing yet it still looked chic and put together. They are from Anthropologie and are $98. Definitely an investment piece but they make a beautiful statement!
As for sizing for these pants. They are high waisted so I am wearing a 00 regular. They also come in petite but I would say they run true to size. Just make sure you know your measurement around your waist since they do sit higher!
I’m wearing them today with a white top which is actually a bodysuit. This bodysuit comes in white and black and is currently marked down to $20!!! I really like the way it looks like an actual shirt but you don’t have to worry about tucking it in or it coming untucked. The bottom of the bodysuit is actually a cotton material where the top is polyester. I went with a small because I didn’t want it to be too tight at the bottom. I also love that it’s a v-neck and really just still can’t get over the fact that it’s actually a bodysuit!
I love adding subtle pops of color to an outfit like this so I went with these blue tassel earrings and my favorite blue heeled sandals. My sandals are under $30 from Target and are basically identical to the Steve Madden Carrson ones.
I love a good hat and this one is my current go-to. Plus wearing a hat means you don’t have to wash your hair and I’m all about that right now!

I think the outfit looks great on you. I personally couldn’t do the pants, but I love that the top is a bodysuit. And I love the shoes and hat. I too am always down for anything that gets my by one more day without washing my hair.

I personally wouldn’t spend this much on these exact pants, but I love that you give the ‘sample’ look and then I search for similar items that are more affordable and that work with my body type!
