Happy Friday!!

I’m so excited for today. My sweet friend, Laura Godfrey (her blog is Reese & Rowe) and I will be speaking at Dress Up‘s Empower Conference! When we were first asked to speak about social media and the presence it has, I was so honored. I never thought that doing what I love would open the doors it has but it’s just a reminder to follow your dreams and great things will happen! We will be speaking to all the store managers from all locations. I’m so excited!

Laura and I will be riding to the corporate office together first thing and I cannot wait! If you don’t follow Laura on Instagram you need to. She is hilarious and always has the best time. I truly and so lucky to have not only a blogger friend but a real friend like her! I put this outfit together when I was packing for NYC. I wore this dress one day while I was there (bet you didn’t think this was a dress) but while I was packing, I knew I would wear the dress more often if it wasn’t in bodycon form. I’m just not a huge bodycon person. So I am layering it with my $10 leopard print blouse from H&M. I cinched the waist with a belt from Anthropologie I got over Christmas and to spice things up a bit, i’m adding blue heels. These ones are under $30 and a perfect dupe for the popular Steve Madden Carrson sandals.

I figured this looks put together, yet fun and shows off my personality, which is exactly what I wanted to accomplish today!
