I saw this dress at Express when I was shopping on Cyber Monday. My tutu obsession was still going strong at that point so when I saw this beauty I HAD TO HAVE it. Thankfully it was on sale for 50% off so after tax it was still under $50….that’s a win in my book!

I tried it on immediately when it came in and the words flirty, sexy and pretty came to mind. Now if you know me or have been following me for any amount of time, you know that I don’t typically go for dresses like this. I’m not one to show off the girls or wear scandalous clothing so this dress definitely stands out compared to my usual looks.

But….i’m sharing it with you because I think that everyone needs one item like this in your closet. You never know when your husband is going to say, “let’s get dressed up and go to a fancy, romantic dinner.” And you never know when you might have a dressed up girls night out and you want to wear something extra fun! So for the price and because I love a good tutu-ish item, I went with it!

Unfortunately, this exact dress is sold out (others must have had the same idea) so i’ve linked a few other fun black dresses that I think y’all will love. You can also rock one of these for the New Year. I always think black is the second best to something sparkly for that holiday.
