40% off Plaid Skirt + Sale Alert

Whoohooo for Friday!! This week has been so crazy with returning home from London, trying to figure out which time zone I’m on and attending events and meetings. It’s crazy but I wouldn’t change a thing. We are in for rest and relaxation this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited! Before we get into all that, I want to share a big sale alert with you!

Sale Alert – with Columbus Day on Monday, the sales are usually pretty intense this weekend! It’s a great time to start shopping for Christmas presents. Most stores are offering at least 40% off everything with additional discounts either in store or online.

My favorite store, LOFT, is offering everyone 40% off EVERYTHING plus an additional 10% off full priced tops if you are a LOFT cardholder. If you missed out on their new arrivals from their sale last week, now is the time to redeem yourself! This is including items from Lou & Grey.

For today’s look, I’m sharing a black and red plaid skirt with a white, dramatic sleeve blouse. This outfit is perfect for work but could also been worn to a UGA football game before the weather gets too cold. You could easily add tights under the skirt as well. The material on the skirt is a little thicker and there is a zip closure up the back. I’m wearing a 00P. I typically always size down to petite at LOFT. I prefer my skirts to not hit my knees so the petite option works best for me. I’m 5’5 for reference.

This white blouse is a fun one! The word dramatic is in the title on the LOFT website and it’s very fitting! I prefer this blouse tucked into something, so pairing it with a high waisted skirt is perfect. It runs true to size – I’m wearing XS. Because of the high neckline, I think its best to add a statement piece of jewelry. The one I’m wearing here is not available online currently but can be found in stores at Target. In fact, I saw two of them at the target in Alpharetta – North Point just yesterday.

I’m wearing this outfit with my favorite knee high tan boots. They are by Sam Edelman and are amazing. I purchased them during the Nordstrom Sale in July and I’m so glad I did. I’ve worn them a ton and it’s not even really cold yet. They are an investment piece and will run you about $225. Trust me when I tell you, they are worth it!
