Work Wear Wednesday

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a #workwearwednesday look with y’all so I thought I would bring it back with one of my favorite dresses I received in the mail recently. You know when you get something in the mail and it’s just GOOD. Like you are taking it out of the package and you love it before seeing it the full way…that was my feelings when this little baby came in.

First let me tell you two things. I’m a big fan of polka dots and I’m a big fan of drop waist dresses. This piece falls into both of those categories! It also has darling ruffle details on the neck and sleeves. When I tried it on first I noticed the sleeves were meant to be long. I like sleeves that are 3/4 length so I just pulled them up and because of the elastic in the sleeves, they stay right in place!

I think this dress is perfect for the workplace. It’s fully covering your upper body, it’s a good length…although I would check the sizing if you are tall. I’m wearing lower heels and I probably wouldn’t want to wear anything higher because of the length. I’m 5’5″ and think it hits me perfect in the Small. It’s also great for church or just a casual look. The weather in April and May can be so tricky in the South. One day it’s hot the next day it’s cold. This is a great dress to have on hand for the chilly weather, although it’s a thing material so just keep that in mind!
