Good morning! I’m so happy the weekend is almost here! Chris is having Lasik Eye Surgery tomorrow so we will be laying low this weekend. He has been talking about having this surgery for as long as I’ve known him so I’m so glad his dreams of no more contacts or glasses is coming true. Have you had it? What’s the recovery like?
I get a lot of questions on what outfits are good to wear to work in the cooler weather. Fall is one of my favorite seasons for work attire. I think you can piece so many items together to create multiple outfits. Like this blouse for example, it’s got a ruffle sleeve that buttons down the front. I’ve paired it with pull-on trousers and it would also look good with a patterned pencil skirt (think leopard print) or under a sleeveless shift dress.
I like investing in tops like these because you can wear them with different outfits, the color is festive for fall and the price tag is only $25! My pull-on trousers are under $60 but are only available in small and large right now. I’m wearing an XS but I think I could have easily worn the small too, so if you are between sizes, order up. I did find a similar pair of pull-on pants that are fully stocked. They are under $80 and look just as comfortable!
While the weather is still so warm…hello October??? You can get away with wearing an open toe sandals with this look. I will switch the sandals for a nude pump when the weather cools. I’ve also added an open front, long blazer. This “blazer” is more like a “coatigan”. It’s not too heavy and it’s perfect for layering. The sizes on this color are low in stock however, black is an option! I’m wearing a size 2.
This look is very easy to put together and comes in under $150. All pieces can be worn separately, which is a win-win in my book!!
