Hello! I’m sorry I haven’t shared blog posts from NYFW yet. I’ve been getting all my thoughts together and those posts will be coming this week and next. I am still working on which approach will be the most beneficial for you to read. As always, I want to make sure that I’m sharing relevant content with you for each post!

I am excited to write this post today because I’m sharing all about the beautiful handbags that we had in NYC. Mireille, from City Peach, and I team with with Trendlee to borrow a few other their preowned designer handbags. I wish I could tell you that I went out and bought a Chanel and Chloe bag before the trip but that just wasn’t the case! If there is one thing that I will save my money for, it’s a new handbag. I can still remember when I purchased my very first Louis Vuitton. It was after I had my big girl job for a year. I had been saving money from each paycheck knowing that I wanted to make an investment and buy a brand new purse from the Louis Vuitton store in Lenox Mall. The experience was really nice and I’m so glad that I purchased my first expensive bag that way. However, I don’t think I will go that route again.

I am constantly looking at Trendlee’s website to see which designer bags they are carrying. They have it all – Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Prada – just to name a few. They buy gently used designer handbags then discount them and sell them online. They 100% guarantee each bag’s authenticity with papers and confirmation that each designer bag is “real”. I was honestly shocked when I opened the package with the Chloe Faye bag that I borrowed. There was not a scratch on the bag. It literally looked BRAND NEW!!

You can also sell your handbags to Trendlee through Reebag. Basically all you have to do is take a few photos of the item, upload it on their mobile or desktop site. Then within 1-2 days they will send you back an offer for your handbag. If you accept, they will send you a free shipping label to send them your bag. Once they receive your bag, you will get paid within 2-3 days. They don’t do consignment, just cash right away! I have a few designer bags that I am not using any more and I’ve been thinking about upgrading to something else. This is probably the route I’ll be taking soon!

Trendlee makes it so easy to shop designer without having the pay the hefty price tag. I was talking with Mireille and we actually prefer to buy used because that means the bag has a story. It’s been somewhere else and hopefully lived a great life there. Even though we don’t know all the details of it’s previous life, it’s still fun to know that your new to you handbag made someone else happy before you!

We shot these two looks with Katie right before we flew home on Sunday of NYFW. We were supposed to stay until Monday but due to Hurricane Irma making landfall in Georgia, we decided to get out early on Sunday night. I’ve been wearing these olive green pants like crazy lately and loved them with my Nine West Velvet heels and two different sweater options. The turtleneck is so soft and the perfect shade of pink. It’s only $35 and is sure to keep me warm in the coming cooler months. I also adore the grey v-neck sweater. It’s lightweight, yet very oversized. I’m wearing an XS but love the slouchy fit! I have this sweater in the sage green and can’t wait to share that color with you!

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding Trendlee and my experience with them. I actually loved the Chloe bag that I borrowed for Fashion Week so much that I ended up purchasing it for my birthday!

I can’t wait to share more from our trip soon!!
