Newbury Port

30 May |

Spending time with family we don’t see often is always a special treat. We flew into Boston on Thursday night and spent the night with Chris’s parents in Worchester, MA. We spent our weekend back and forth to Middleton, MA to visit Chris’s brother, Mike, his wife Krysten and our new nephew, Caiden! What a bundle of joy!!

Caiden is fresh out of the hospital and only 3 weeks old. On Saturday we decided it was time to get out and visit a little town not far from Mike and Krysten called, Newbury Port, MA. What a perfect little coastal town. The weather was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better first adventure for Caiden.

We parked on the street in town and got the stroller out and off we went to explore. We walked down to the middle of town and looked around. Such cute little shops! We decided on dinner at Not your Average Joe’s. Krysten and I had a few cocktails (a treat for a new mom!) and the best ciabatta bread I’ve ever tasted! The restaurant overlooked the water and was beautiful. We weren’t expecting the weather to be hot – it got up to the 90s that afternoon!

After an amazing goat cheese & watermelon salad, we went down to the boardwalk for a quick stroll. Mike is an architectural photographer on the side. He does amazing work and is very talented. I was excited for him to show me a thing or two about my camera and help me with a quick shoot. Here is a few pictures from the fun we had at Newbury Port.
