Good morning ladies! Happy Tuesday! I’m so excited to share bridal inspiration with you today. As Spring and Summer weddings are fast approaching, I wanted to share a few white dress options for your showers and events leading up to the big day!

I remember this time when I was planning my own wedding a few years ago. I felt like I could never find the perfect dress for my bridal showers or bachelorette festivities. I searched for so many options and continued to come up emptied handed. So today, I’m putting together several options for white dresses so that you won’t be in the same boat I was!

I personally think that as the Bride, it’s acceptable to wear white to every event you have leading up to your wedding. You are the BRIDE and the events are about YOU! At the end of the day, you should wear what you are most comfortable in so if that’s off white, light pink or bright white, you wear what makes you feel best! Just know that wearing white to all events is perfectly acceptable!

I found this beautiful shift dress at Express a few weeks ago. The first thing I thought when I saw it was, “This dress would be so pretty for a bridal luncheon or bridal shower”. I really love the sleeve detail with the ties on each side. This dress is simple and perfect for any bride to be.

The great thing about this dress is that you don’t only have to be a bride to wear it. It’s advertised online as light pink however, in person, I don’t see any hints of pink in the dress. It would also be great for a casual night out at the beach this spring and summer and can be dressed up with nice jewelry and heels or down with sandals and sunglasses.

The dress runs true to size. I’m wearing XS. I would suggest wearing nude under garments. It’s not see through but it might be if you are wearing something dark underneath. I also suggest pairing this dress with nude heels as a bride. You will want all the attention to stay at your face and darker shoes can sometimes draw attention to your feet.

I’ve linked several other bridal shower options for you below. There are several great options that I know you will love! I’ve also tried to keep all my picks to under $150. I would love your feedback on if you plan to spend more than that for the perfect bridal shower dress.

Thank you so much for stopping by Loverly Grey today!!

  1. Hi Brittany!

What a life saver this post was! I am in a wedding at the end of April in San Diego. The bride and groom have this great industrial venue downtown and she has this beautiful bohemian style. She really has loved the idea of the bridesmaids wearing white as well and it has been soo hard finding something complimentary to the bride’s style that also works for our diverse crew. We are coming down to the wire on timing and then YOU POSTED THIS???????? I sent this post to the bridal party and the bride and several bridesmaids went to an express and all unanimously fell in love with the tie sleeve shift dress. I am so thankful for your roundups and recommendations!! Such a lifesaver! ????

  2. Loves these options! I actually just got engaged this past weekend and perfect time to get a dress for our events coming up this spring and summer!!! Thank you!
