Happy September + Shift Dress

Happy September!! I love this month so much. Mostly because it’s my birth month but also because I feel like it’s a segue into cooler weather and all things Fall. Chris comes home from London today and then our weekend with friends begins. I honestly kind of forgot that this weekend was Labor Day Weekend until mid week. I feel like so much has been going on lately that we didn’t even make plans for the weekend. Thankfully all of Chris’s friends from college will be in town for the Florida State v Alabama game. Chris is so excited about going to the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium and I think I’m just as excited for him. I am no longer allowed to go to Florida State games because every time I do, they lose. (Sorry everyone!)

I was checking out a few things online yesterday and saw that this dress is now stocked in seven colors! Some of them are even bright and perfect for your team’s football game. They definitely have UGA and GA Tech colors in there with the bright red and yellow. I love how comfy this dress is. It’s just an easy throw on and go look that anyone can pull off. It is very plain so I added a scarf to it and love the look. I have a friend from home who always wears shift dresses and scarves, no matter what season, and she always looks so cute! Sarah, this one is for you!

The dress is a little oversized. I’m wearing a small here but would normally want a XS. I think the small fits okay but I think if I buy another color I will order XS. I’m majorly crushing on the burgundy option and you can’t go wrong with black! For the lighter dress options, I would suggest nude undergarments. It’s not totally see through but I think if you had on a black bra under it, you would be able to tell.
