Happy Monday! Striped Skirt + Blouse from LOFT

Good morning and Happy Monday to you! Is it me or did we just blink and October was basically over? I feel like these next few weeks of 2017 are going to fly by.

This time of the year is one of my favorites because everyone is gearing up for the holidays. Can you believe that Christmas is in eight weeks? I feel like there is so much to do before that special day arrives! Thankfully the holiday shopping is about upon us. Meaning that most stores are starting to offer sale prices on their items pretty much every day. I honestly think that this is the time to start stocking up on items for Christmas presents. You don’t have to wait until Black Friday anymore. Although, there are definitely good sales then but there are great sales going on now too!

Let me give you a few more details on this blouse and striped skirt. The blouse is a silky, polyester material that is meant to embrace your bohemian side with it’s billowy sleeves. I am wearing XS and this that it runs true to size. I personally love it most tucked in to a skirt or slacks for work. My striped skirt is a closet must-have this fall. The colors are perfect for the season! In skirts from the LOFT, I always think they run big. I typically always size down to petite because of the length. Here, I am wearing a 00P.

I added my go-to tall boots by Sam Edelman to my outfit for a business casual look. You could easily wear pointy toe, nude pumps if you wanted to dress it up a bit more. My exact boots are sold out in pretty much every size but I’ve found a few alternatives. These ones are from Target and these ones are from Nordstrom Rack.
