Fall Uniform – Dress + Sweater

Happy Monday!! I feel like today is going to be crazy. I’m excited to see what this Eclipse is about. I was talking with a lady that I work with last week and she was telling me when the last eclipse was here, they were just kids and they had to build these boxes to be able to look at the eclipse. My how things have changed!

Today’ I’m sharing a fun look that perfect for business casual settings. If you haven’t already gotten your hands on these boots for Fall….you need to order them asap! They are going to be my go-to boots for everything. They run true to size, have a great little heel and come in two other color options. Boots with dresses is one of my favorite casual Fall looks.

This dress is the perfect lightweight dress for transitioning. If you live in the South, you know the weather doesn’t start to cool down until mid-October. Thin dresses like this one, make it easy to wear Fall patterns, without all the extra weight of Fall/Winter clothes. I belted this dress with a brown skinny belt and added a fine knit kimono over it. You could easily wear this look with sandals or heels now then boots later. As for sizing on the dress. It’s very oversized so I would size down. I’m wearing a 2 and it is a little long but the belt helps make it shorter. It’s also a little see through. I would suggest nude under garments or a slip if you have one. It’s not inappropriate but I just want to be honest with y’all!
